The speed deal is a side mission at Villa Gordon where you have to drive between several gates in 30 seconds or less.

Background

Lawrence Lee Junior wants to annoy Gordon Woo by beating his and his family's records at the race track. Also in the same message, Lee thinks that the paintings stolen in Fine arts burned up in the thunderstorm, and also does not think that Woo does not have them. Both statements are ironically untrue.

Objectives

Gordon's record is 30.31 seconds, the primary objective.

Main objective

• Finish the race in 30 seconds or less.

Secondary objectives

• Finish the race in 20 seconds or less.
• Finish the race in 15 seconds or less.

Strategy

In order to complete the race, the player must pass through all of the three gates placed along the track in order, which means that the player cannot complete a race by going through gates 1-3-2. There are multiple supercars around the map the player can use to complete the race. When brought to the starting line, cars should be driven with caution and avoid any severe collisions or damage in order to achieve maximum performances.

However, there is a less orthodox method to complete all time objectives with ease. It is possible to cut the markers (the sign with the lights) off the gates and reposition them around in order to significantly shorten the track. Passing near a marker will count as a gate passed.

However, the wire connecting the marker to its nearby pole must remain intact. If the wire breaks, a "gate broken" pop-up appears on screen and the race can no longer be started, forcing the player to restart the level or load a quicksave. Since the November 5th 2020 patch, destroying or cutting off the pole will also count as a gate broken.
