The Old Building Problem is the first mission of Teardown. It is assigned by Gordon Woo via a forward from Tracy, takes place at Evertides Mall, and tasks the player with destroying a single building.
Background[]
Löckelle Teardown services is an underperforming family demolition company, seriously affected by a lackuster demolition industry. Its head of sales, Tracy searches for customers in search of profit. One customer, Evertides Mall manager Gordon Woo, wants to expand his mall, and so employs LTS to quickly and illegally destroy a cultural heritage site to make room.

Destroy the Löckelle Municipality Folk Museum[]
The player is tasked with shortening the building by 5.2 meters. This can be done by using the available propane tanks and Vehicles, or by using the player's Sledge.
Once the building is short enough, the player will be prompted to flee the scene via their Escape Vehicle.

- This is the only mission without any security in Part 1, and the only mission until The BlueTide shortage.
- The landscape on which the museum is a temporary object used for the mission.
- Despite being fully furnished, the food court & boon are inaccessible. (The main building is unfurnished)
- Instead of a food court, there was a car parking garage in 0.6 and before.
- From 0.6 onward, the building will no longer be empty and have some basic furniture inside (mostly some chairs, tables and a lamp). A modern Station Wagon will also appear next to the wooden shed.
