The Spraycan is a Tool in Teardown that serves as a painting utility and enables the Player to mark their route. It is one of the first tools unlocked by the Player, alongside the Sledge and the Extinguisher. It does not have any upgrade options.

The Spraycan is one of the few tools in the player's arsenal that doesn't directly contribute to the destruction of obstacles or creation of new pathways, instead allowing the player to merely paint over voxels with yellow color.
The utility of painting is limited, usually being used to indicate where you need to go when completing missions. Marking a general pathway for your mission can also be beneficial for zooming out by pressing TAB, since visualizing the whole pathway from objective to objective can bring up some ways to improve routing.
It should be noted that the spray of paint weakens with distance like an actual spray can, so a close-range spray will produce a fine and precise line, while further away sprays will be broad and have only minor coloration.
