The Monster Truck is a drivable Vehicle in Teardown. It is only available in Sandbox mode.

Design[]

The Monster Truck is a raised and heavy-offroad version of the Taskmaster 4WD. The differences include: Chopped front fenders to provide space for the new tires(which have also been shifted forward), an iron grate grille, a lightbar on the roof with three large lamps, a new suspension system with huge wheels, black paint with a flame livery, and a yellow & orange interior.

Performance[]

The Monster Truck performs a lot like the standard Taskmaster 4WD with the exception of being the best off-roader in the game. The huge tires can grip almost any surface and because the front wheels have been shifted forward it's approach and departure angle is insanely high. The suspension is also soft enough to absorb bumps and go over any rough surface but stiff enough to take a hard landing without any damage. The durability of the truck has also been greatly overhauled and it can crash through weak structures with minimal damage. You can use it to drive over cars, but this may get it stuck and driving on cars will not do much damage to them. Strangely, the truck is hard to flip despite riding high and having a thin track width for a car of it's class.

Trivia[]

  • The Monster truck in-game is not a true monster truck, and more like a regular truck converted into a hardcore offroader. This is because it does not have a special tubular chassis, nitrogen shocks, a powerful supercharged engine, wide tires, all wheel steering, and basically everything that makes a monster truck a monster truck. Real life monster trucks are specialized trucks built for one purpose, not a consumer vehicle outfitted with extreme offroad modifications. In the past, that is what monster trucks were. In the present, they are radically different from their backyard counterparts. It's tires are also too thin.
  • In the Drive to survive gamemode, there is a special version of the Monster Truck. It has been heavily reinforced and has indestructible bumpers.
  • In West Point Marina and Muratori Beach, the Monster Truck will be located on the Patrol Boat, attached to the upper deck via blue cables.
