The Microcar is one of the many drivable Vehicles in Teardown. It's first appearance is on the West Point Marina.
Design[]
The Microcar is almost solely based on the first generation Citroën C1, but has smaller design cues from the first generation Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107.
The front end of the vehicle has a large grille with what looks to be a badge in the middle, surrounded by a set of small fog lights. Right above the grille are two headlight units, housing a small light and an indicator, covered by glass. The car doesn't seem to have a front bumper. The nearly vertical front end crawls up to a flat hood, which connects to a sloped windshield, with a set of plastic mirrors beside it, attached to a plastic glass frame. Right after the doors, the rear end narrows, and holds 2 small windows framed in plastic. There is a grey trim stripe on the doors of the vehicle (presumably plastic). The wheels of the car are extremely small, wrapped in low profile tires.
On the back of the car is a large glass hatch, yet again framed in plastic, with a large brake light on the bottom. This hatch allows view of the rear seats. On the sides of it are the rear light units, holding an indicator on the very edge, a reversing light in the middle and a brake light on the bottom. Below the light units are a set of very small taillights, with what looks to be a badge in between. Under the badge is a cut in the bodywork, exposing the frame, and the singular exhaust on the left. The car's body is painted in various shades of blue, and has grey accents.
Performance[]
The Microcar is not a remarkable car in terms of performance. It is lacking in terms of acceleration and durability, and its low ground clearance does not allow for good off-roading. Its turning ability is good as it is able to turn on a dime because of its short wheelbase and the AWD drivetrain, but drifting can cause loss of control due to its light weight. It is so light that it can be pulled by hand. It is also very common to find on most maps.
