Story[]

Tax fraud case[]

The player first hears about Lee from Parisa Terdiman, who is stuck on an investigation regarding Lee committing tax evasion. The case has been stalling, due to the popularity of Lee among local figures. To circumvent this, she wants information directly from Lee Chemicals. She finds a suitable candidate to do the job, in the form of the player, who is involved with the recent destruction of a cultural heritage site. She asks the player to steal the computers to access the customer registry.

She discovers an unusual client, BT, and asks for more information regarding their transactions. In doing so, she links this to the marina, where Lee Chemicals has a warehouse. She again asks for the shipping details of their projects. She discovers that they have been encrypted, and asks for the decryption key, hidden in a safe.

The GPS locations point to Hollowrock Island, an isolated island in the sea, where they produce BlueTide. She again asks the player for BlueTide's computers, where she discovers Lee has been collaborating with a mysterious person by the name of Mr. Amanatides, who has no records of himself, so she orders the player to steal data from satellite dishes to gain information on their collaboration.

After the dam break at Lee Chemicals, she orders the final peice of the puzzle, Lee's accounting, to be stolen from the facility, as it is empty due to flooding. An armed helicopter, catches the player in the act, and chases them down the river, where a roadblock is reached at Frustrum, forcing the player to traverse it by foot, and steal a speedboat. Lee is arrested shortly after.

Rivalry with Gordon Woo[]

Gordon Woo's third mission, Classic cars, tasks the player with stealing two vintage cars Lee won at an auction and which Woo believes Lee only obtained to sell overseas and make money. After losing the cars, Lee contacts the player, unaware of their involvement in the previous break-ins, to help him exact revenge by driving three cars into the water, starting the mission, The Car Wash.

Woo is infuriated and in retaliation, orders the destruction of the Lee Tower on its 75th anniversary. Lee is saddened, and in revenge, plans to steal Woo's paintings and most likely sell them. They are returned to him eventually. As a final act of humiliation, he asks the player To break the speed record of Woo's family on the racetrack.

Later, an irritated insurance company, orders the destruction of his insurance papers, an act Woo falsely blames on Lee. In an act of revenge, Woo orders the sabotage of the power supply, including the hydroelectric dam, and all auxillary power, putting the plant in operation. As a consequence, the resevoir flows into the 3 major rivers, flooding regions such as Frustrum.

After his arrest, Lee sends a coded message to the player via the prison ordering him to sabotage Gordon's Racing Woonderland that was built on the Lee Chemicals site. This action bankrupts Woo, giving Lee the last laugh.

not really demolition but you don't know me, but i've had a series of break-ins recently. in the last one i lost two very rare, classic cars and guess what!? i know who did it! gordon woo, that absolute prick, is now bragging to everyone at the club at his two new fav possessions.
the break-ins caused me a lot of property damage and i'd like to let gordon taste some of his own medicine. since you're in the demolition industry i thought.. well.. i don't know if you do this sort of work, but let me know if it sounds interesting.
that escalated quickly :-( gordon really took this one step too far. you probably heard it on the news, but he hit my tower. the LEE TOWER. my poor grandfather is probably turning in his grave right now. it'll cost me a fortune to rebuild that. i need to get back at gordon, but he's so loaded with money that whatever i do he can just pay someone to fix it.
the only way to get to him is to strike where his fat wallet can't protect him - his precious art collection. some of those paintings would also make a nice contribution to the restuaration[sic] fund for my new tower.
good at driving? hey, I just got this awesome idea for humiliating gordon.. you know that ridiculous, undersized race track he keeps in his back yard to pretend being a race driver. wouldn't it be funny if he came home to a new track record on that display? you a decent driver by any chance?
by the way, those paintings you helped me with earlier.. they didn't make it through the thunderstorm. burned up, every single one. what are the odds... my only comfort is that at least gordon doesn't have them either

Trivia[]

  • Lee is the only character in the game who's emails are written in lowercase letters.
  • Lee's name suffix (Jr.) is not an accurate title, as he was named after his grandfather (Lawrence Lee Sr.) instead of his father. His name should be Lawrence Lee II.
