- For other forklifts, see Forklift (disambiguation).
The Industrial Forklift is one of the many drivable Vehicles in Teardown. Its first appearance is on the West Point Marina.
Design[]
Like many other construction vehicles, the Industrial Forklift is not based on any particular model of forklift.
The machine starts off with a pair of huge yellow forks (only the fronts of which are indestructible) sitting on a large metal lift. The forks can be moved up and down using LMB and RMB (default input). Behind the metal lift is the large cab, a wide metal box with many windows and tiny lamps on the roof. The cab and lift are attached to a black base with headlights in front of the cabin and dually wheels covered by fenders underneath them.
The forklift has coke-bottle like styling on the sides with large fenders and narrow sides. The machine has steps on either side to allow for entry into the cabin, behind which stands an exhaust pipe, connected to the large diesel engine below the black coloration. The rear fenders are very large with reversing lights atop them and taillights below. The steering wheels are half as wide as the front wheels and are not fully covered by the fenders. The Industrial Forklift is painted in a bright yellow color with black accents.
Performance[]
The Industrial Forklift is just the Forklift but much larger. Due to the size increase, the machine can transport heavier items such as cars, boats or even containers. The durability of the vehicle has also been increased along with the front fork assembly, allowing the vehicle to easily carve through buildings made of light materials. Of course, the Industrial Forklift is not as good at destroying buildings as other construction vehicles such as the Excavator or Front Loader but the former is not available on the map. Even if the forklift was used to destroy buildings, the ground clearance is very bad and can get the forklift easily stuck in the ground especially with the forks fully brought down.
