- For other forklifts, see Forklift (disambiguation).
The Forklift is one of the many Vehicles in Teardown. Its first appearance is on the West Point Marina.
Design[]
The Forklift is not based on any particular model of forklift.
The most noticeable feature are the forks: long sticks used to transport items such as wooden pallets. The forks can be moved up and down using LMB and RMB(default input). Behind the forks are the front wheels, being a bit larger than the rears and covered partially by small fenders. Above the wheels is the overhead guard protecting the single seat joined by a pair of spotlights on either side.
Behind the driver's seat is the engine, complimented by two small wheels by it's sides and a black stripe above them. The black stripe hides a pair of tiny taillights. The Forklift has a single exhaust pipe right next to the back left wheel, and is painted in a yellow color with black accents.
Performance[]
The Forklift, much like the Telehandler and Basket Lift, does not serve much of a purpose. It has roughly the same performance as the handler except it is more maneuverable and smaller. The front forks are still invulnerable allowing it to stab through walls. However, the machine has even worse weight capacity than the handler, meaning it cannot lift heavy items and it has trouble transporting heavy cargo due to it's weight. Cargo may also fall off of the forks due to not being tied down.
Surprisingly, the Forklift is somewhat good at destroying buildings. The forks being invulnerable helps with this, but the vehicle's overall durability also contributes. Even brick walls cannot stand up to the machine. However, it's low ground clearance may trap debris under the vehicle, causing it to get stuck.
