The Food Vans are groups of the many drivable Vehicles in Teardown. They appears on the Evertides Mall sandbox.(Ice Cream Truck also appears in Drive to survive challenge.)
Design[]
The Food Vans does not appear to be based on any specific vehicle, though they bears resemblance to a highly modified Van. The cabin and front grille are very similar to it, albeit slightly larger.
Note: the trucks are 6.1m long, 2.5m wide and 3.3m tall, making it 0.8m longer and 0.4m wider than the standard Van.
Ice Cream Truck[]
The Ice Cream Truck is painted in a cheerful two-tone livery of white and sky blue, with the sky blue parts featuring a small polka dot pattern. A large popsicle and ice cream cone are painted on the right side. The inside has some ice cream tubs and a topping station.
Taco Truck[]
The Taco Truck is painted in a three-tone livery of red, orange and brown with small green dots on the red portion and silver decor on the brown portion. the roof of the truck is decorated with a skull with a sombrero. There is a sign denoting Taco Taco with what seems to be a depiction of an avocado. The opposite side of the truck has Taco Taco written upon it as well. The inside holds multiple grills and various spices and ingredients on shelves above them.
Barbecue Truck[]
The Barbercue Truck is painted in a two-tone livery of brown and black with a tan wavy line decorating the brown portion. There is a sign with a fiery design denoting the word BAM. On the other side of the truck there is a menu where if hovered over "Large fries with Bamhurger" is commented. There is a counter with two grills and some ingredients and the shelves above seem to hold relish and buns along with mustard and ketchup dispensers. There is an explosive pickle on the counter.
Hot Dog Truck[]
The Hot Dog Truck is painted in a three-tone livery of brown, red and tan with yellow and red elements on the brown portion and silver dots like sesame seeds on the tan portion. There is a sign in the form of a hotdog denoting the name of a company seen throughout other maps, Tösa Grill. On the other side of the truck there is a squiggly mustard design painted upon it. There is a counter with two grills and some ingredients and the shelves above seem to hold relish and buns along with mustard and ketchup dispensers.
Pizza Truck[]
The Pizza Truck is painted in a two-tone livery of black and white the white portion having a stripe of green and red to resemble the Italian flag. The sign that denotes the word Pizza also utilizes the stripes of the flag. The other side of the truck has bigger red and green stripes and smaller white stripes under a menu where if hovered over "Today's special: Octa Fromaggio" is commented. The inside has a counter with a grill and two pizza ovens. Above the grill are several ingredients and spices.
Performance[]
Food Vans has a low top speed but surprisingly good performance. They turns relatively well and it's quite easy to control because of their lower top speed. They have a tendency to fishtail when turning.
