"One of the fastest cars avaible on the market. A true monster of power! This car is epitome of being flush with the road, so no off roading!" - Description in Drive to survive
The Crownzygot XVC is one of the many drivable Vehicles in Teardown. Its only appearance is on Villa Gordon. It is the fastest vehicle in the game alongside the Eurus IV XXF.
Design[]
The Crownzygot XVC does not seem to be based off of any particular car design, though its rear end bears resemblance to a Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204. The front end of the car starts off with a wide vent on the bottom of the bumper and a diffusor underneath it, surrounded by small side vents. Above the side vents are the angular headlights, perfectly blending with the bodywork, surrounding the wide main grille. The hood rises a small amount to reach the sleek windshield, with small body colored mirrors around it. The car is a streamlined and low 2-seater coupe(it could be a 2+2, but there is very little space in the rear to allow for seats) complete with racing bucket seats and a roll bar behind them, plus a stripped interior. The sides of the car have many curves, hiding thin vents and giving the illusion of a widebody. The car has small fenders housing large(presumably alloy) rims wrapped in low profile tires.
Around the back is a big empty trunk, visible to all through a large rear window, all ahead of a racing wing. The car appears to have a small built-in spoiler under the racing wing, evidenced by a small patch of extruded material on the trunk. A license plate would most likely sit in the space between the rear bumper and the trunk spoiler. Following the trend at the front of the car, the rear lights are quite big and styled in an aggressive manner. Small reversing lights cut through the dark red brake lights, ending at the trunk. The rear bumper has a diffusor on it, making it look bigger than it actually is. This effect is amplified by the black on the bottom, separate from the diffusor. The Crownzygot does not have any indicators. The car has one exhaust pipe, with exhaust smoke coming from behind the diffusor. The car is painted in a bright red-and-white livery with black accents all around the body, as well as a small teal stripe running along the rear wing.
Performance[]
The Crownzygot XVC is a remarkable car in terms of performance. It is tied for speed with the Eurus while handling much better. Compared to the Eurus the XVC handles much the same in terms of speed and acceleration, however it has much more responsive handling. For starters, the vehicle has better grip and does not slide as much as the Eurus and maintains better traction during drifting. The high-speed understeer problem of the former is also gone, with the XVC being able to initiate a drift without the handbrake even at top speed.
Overall, the Crownzygot is an amplified Eurus, having even worse ground clearance and durability but having better handling. Durability is extremely poor on the vehicle, with it tending to take heavy damage even in low-speed collisions while quickly losing momentum. Crashes of any sort tend to completely shut down the car, demanding a quick load or restart.
Trivia[]
- Using only the Sledge, the car can be reduced to one-third of it's total durability.
- The Crownzygot is split into 2 different versions, named the iota and the alpha respectively. There is no discernable difference between these two versions.
