Covert Chaos is a side mission in Teardown, that takes place at Evertides Mall, where the food court has to be demolished within 2 minutes.
The goal is to demolish a Food Court in under 2 minutes during a firework show using available tools. The military vehicles prepared for the parade are standing nearby. The useful ones are 3 tanks, and a van with a rocket launcher. There is also a minigun and extra Rocket Launcher ammo that the player can pick up. The player does not get to keep the minigun.
Background[]
The yearly celebrations at Löckelle Municipality are ocurring, with the Löckelle Home Guard parade. The parade is using Evertides Mall as a staging area. Wolfe Construction Company owner Anton Wolfe wants to replace the Evertides food court with a parking garage, and wants the building to be destroyed to swing the decision in his favor.

Minigun[]
Can be found by the first two tanks of the parade in a green crate. The minigun has 500 rounds.

Targets[]
Primary Target[]
- Take down the food court to at least 50%.
Secondary targets[]
- Take down the court to 30%.
- Take down the court to 10%.
Security[]
There are demolition sensors in the Food Court during the preparation phase. Damaging the building before the firework show will give an on-screen warning to the player. However if more than 1% of the building is destroyed, a game over occurs.
The rest of the mall has no security.
Strategy[]
Unlike the heists, Covert chaos has no fixed strategy. It is a good idea to find as many explosives as possible to maximize early damage. Use tanks and rocket van. Use rockets, bombs and the minigun for quick damage. Despite the demolition sensors, the player can damage the building up to a certain point before triggering the alarm, which means that they can create holes or preparatory destruction to assist them during the firework show. It is recommended to frequently quicksave in case the player accidentally damages the building too much during the preparation phase.
Propane tanks can be transported using a Single-unit truck.
