Challenges are one of the Game Modes in Teardown.
Description[]
Challenges are a collection of exciting objectives strewn about random environments and played with a fixed set of Tools. These challenges are fun "side quests" diverted away from the Campaign as a light-hearted break from the action of missions and contain special items and vehicles. These challenges play much like arcade games, purely focused on the action and without an objective. The only "objective" in these levels is to get a high score or beat a previous best. Or just have fun. Probably the latter.
So far, there are three challenges, each radically different. However, certain levels in the Campaign must be beaten in order to unlock these challenges.

Hunted[]
- How to unlock: Beat the level: An Assortment of Dishes
- What must be done: The player must steal chests spawning at random places in the map. Every 5 chests, one star appears. The goal is to get 5 stars (25 chests), but the player can pick up an endless amount of chests. The only limit in this challenge is how long one can last under the onslaught of autocannon fire from an aggressive Security Chopper. After collecting enough chests to get 3 stars a second chopper will come.

- How to unlock: Beat the level: The Lee computers
- What must be done: The player must destroy as many voxels as they can in sixty seconds. One must be careful however, as the timer activates once 1000 voxels have been destroyed. There are special semi-truck variants in this game mode, designed to help the player destroy as much as possible, as well as special equipment such as remote-controlled bombs.

- How to unlock: Beat the level: The login devices
- What must be done: The player must obtain as many chests as possible and get to the escape vehicle within 60 seconds.
