BlueTide is an enhancement tool used for increasing the mobility of the player, specifically speed and jumping. It is unlocked when the player has a score of 120 or has the Hot Shot rank.

The tool itself is a can of Bluetide Founder's Edition. It is made of metal and is wrapped in a blue decal. BlueTide allows the player to move faster and jump higher. This is ideal for running away from the guard helicopter or for moving though a heist mission faster than normal. Upon its consumption the player's FOV decreases and a blue overlay appears on the edges of the screen, making it slightly more difficult to see.
It's very useful to use BlueTide to revisit earlier stages where the player may have missed optional objectives due to the time limit. If distance covered is a major factor, BlueTide can shave many seconds off a heist.
