Amanatides is a supporting character in Teardown. He is CEO of BlueTide, producing its eponymous drink, and is friends with Lawrence Lee Junior(whom he had a corruption scandal with). He also owns Hollowrock Island.
Story[]
Part 1[]
Amanatides plays a very minor role in Part 1, but has worked closely with Lee Chemicals recently. There are no records of him so satellite dishes are hacked to gain intel on him.
Part 2[]
Amanatides is initially introduced to the player by a mutual friend, Gordon Woo, due the player's stealth.
Due to the popularity of BlueTide, Amanatides initially asks for data from Quilez Security for a discount on RoboCorp robots to protect Hollowrock Island. These robots prove to be unsuccessful, and BlueTide production is setback, worsening demand. After reports of poor PR and scalping, Amanatides asks the player to retrieve some stores from Frustrum while it is evacuated.
After a break-in at Evertides Mall, Amanatides is angered and asks the mall's manager(Woo) to be fired with immediate notice. A new manager is installed that is more sympathetic to Amanatides, and discover that a company called "LTS" is behind the break-ins(They are still unaware that this is the player), and devises a plan to stop them. To start, he steals a military truck from the Löckelle Home Guard, then steals robots and nitroglycerin from Quilez, to finally make the Truxterminator.
After a raid on Hollowrock, Amanatides finally seeks revenge on LTS, by attempting to destroy Cullington, but the Truxterminator is redirected torwards the ocean, and Amanatides is found in a vault and arrested.

Discreet photographer | Greetings, We have not been formally introduced, and I would prefer we keep it that way. A mutual friend, Mr. Woo, informed me of your proficiency in entering and exiting locations undetected.
Are you interested in helping me obtain this information? A few close-up photographs of their robot prototypes should be enough. I would reward you handsomely. |
BlueTide shortage | Despite the security upgrade I had a recent break-in at Hollowrock. The new robots are not performing as advertised. I had a string of similar break-ins last summer, and I suspect this one might be related.
The production has had a significant setback due to the break-in, and as a result we haven't been able to meet demand lately. Our stores are running low and this reflects very unfavorably on the company. However, some dealer in Frustrum has surplus stock and has been selling my product to my own customers throughout our ordeal. They have been lining their pockets whilst we have been occupied with the fallout from the break-in. Very unsympathetic behavior, I would say. To rectify this, I would like you to reclaim my product from Frustrum to restock my stores. Frustrum has been evacuated due to the storm, so it should be straightforward for someone with your skills. |
Another setback | You won't believe this! There has been another break-in, but this time at the repackaging hub! It appears that security was inadequate at best, so the manager has been released with immediate notice.
Apparently, someone has insights into my operation they should not have. The new manager has an inkling of who could be responsible so the matter shall be discussed intently. If further knowledge is provided, I will likely need your assistance in this matter, so await further instructions. |
Breakthrough | Such a fabulous day! I had brunch with the Evertides manager to discuss recent issues, and it became immediately clear who the culprit behind all these break-ins is. A plan has been set in motion to stop this interference once and for all. There are a few favors I will have to ask of you, though.
First, I need a sturdy vehicle. Löckelle home guard ordered a new transport truck that would be perfect for the job. It's currently stuck in the Frustrum canal due to some shipping mishap. Could you go and wiggle it out for me? |
Autonomus Technology | Splendid work on procuring that vehicle for me. I have a team working on it already. Apparently, there has been a technological breakthrough at Quilez Security. One of my informants obtained some classified documentation describing a considerable leap forward at their Autonomous Robot Research department. This technology would do wonders for my plan.
They store their prototypes in secure vaults on the premises. It would be fabulous if you could circumvent their security and provide me with a few of these. I am quite excited to show you what I am working on! |
Need nitroglycerin | My plan is coming together splendidly! The autonomous technology you liberated from Quilez will be the crown of my creation. Actually, their technology is so far ahead of the competition that I decided to upgrade Hollowrock's security with their robots. They are due to be deployed there within the new few minutes.
Now, there is just one thing missing to complete my masterpiece - nitroglycerin! Unfortunately, it requires a license to be purchased. A license I do not have. However, Quilez is regularly receiving large quantities of it. As a matter of fact, they received a shipment yesterday. It would be fabulous if you could pay them a visit and bring back as much as possible. As usual, you will be generously compensated. |
Truxterminator | It is with great pleasure that I present to you; the Truxterminator! Behold its glory! I have instructed my people to deploy this marvel tomorrow. It will be such a joy watching it take care of my problems once and for all.
As a token of my appreciation for your sublime work, I have arranged a small gift. Since we have managed to keep each other's identities and whereabouts concealed, I had it placed in the warehouse on Hollowrock Island. Pick it up at a convenient time for you. I am certain you will find your way in. |
Uninvited guests | What an outrage! The police are raiding Hollowrock and practically swarming the place. Fortunately, I managed to hide in the vault. From here, I will be able to slink out through the emergency exit. I am astonished that they somehow managed to pull this off, but it is of no concern anymore. My people are deploying the Truxterminator this very minute, and I will have my well-deserved revenge.
I might as well reveal how I found out whilst I wait for the ruckus to calm down. While scrutinizing the mall security tapes with the new manager, we caught a glimpse of a yellow van marked LTS. With a bit of research we managed to locate the same van parked on a driveway in Cullington.
Well... what used to be a driveway in what used to be Cullington. I would wager that I will get the last laugh after all. |
